www.viperidae.de My name is Johan De Smedt. I am a native Belgian and in 1996 I moved from Belgium to the southern part of Germany. I have a son Alexander. At the age of 11 years, I started to study and breed different species of reptiles and amphibians. My principal interest applies however to the European vipers, in those I got specialized over the years. Beside the reptiles, I am also interested in photographing, traveling, computer and martial arts. My profession has nothing to do with reptiles and amphibians. I work in a machine construction company. I speak four languages: Dutch, French, English and of course German.
